At Nurture & Thrive, we work closely with referrers to ensure clients are matched with the most appropriate clinician and supported through a clear, structured intake process.
We understand the importance of timely, high-quality care and aim to make the referral process as simple and seamless as possible.
Who We Support
We provide psychological support for:
- Children and adolescents
- Adults
- Parents and families
Presenting concerns may include:
- Anxiety and emotional regulation
- Autism spectrum presentations
- ADHD and attention difficulties
- Behavioural challenges
- Trauma and complex presentations
- Parenting support
- Assessments (cognitive, ADHD, ASD)
How to Refer
You can refer a client in the following ways:
Online Referral (Preferred)
Submit a referral via our online form:

Send referral information to:

Once received, referrals are reviewed by our clinical team and allocated to the most appropriate clinician.
Who Can Refer
We accept referrals from:
- General Practitioners (Mental Health Treatment Plans)
- Paediatricians
- Psychiatrists
- Allied health professionals
- Support coordinators
- Parents and self-referrals
What Happens Next
Once a referral is received, our team follows a structured process:
- Referral received
All referrals are received by our intake team. - Clinical review
A director reviews the referral to ensure suitability and appropriate matching. - Client contact
Our intake team contacts the client (or parent/caregiver) to discuss next steps. - Clinician allocation
The client is matched with the most appropriate clinician based on their needs and availability. - Booking
The client is offered an appointment or provided with a booking link.
Communication & Timeframes
- Referrals are typically reviewed within a few business days
- Clients are contacted directly by our intake team
- Appointment availability will vary depending on clinician capacity
Who to Refer To
If you are unsure which clinician is the best fit, our team will allocate appropriately.
However, as a guide:
- Therapy services are available for children, adolescents and adults
- Assessment services (ADHD, ASD, cognitive) are conducted by specific clinicians within the team
- Some clinicians work with specific age groups or funding types (e.g. NDIS, Medicare)
